Chase Mechanics

Chasing villain, dead-end traps. The villain spawns when you enter the stage and follows your path with a slight delay. It moves at a fixed speed that is slower than maximum player velocity but faster than unboosted movement. The villain cannot shortcut or teleport — it must navigate the same obstacles. Dead-end platforms look identical to correct paths but terminate without forward progress, giving the villain time to catch up.

Correct Route

  1. Opening sprint — Max speed immediately. Put distance between you and the villain before the first obstacle section.
  2. Bridge fork — Take the LEFT path at the first fork. Right path is a dead end.
  3. Laser section — Reuse Stage 3 strafe techniques. Do not stop — the villain enters the grid behind you.
  4. Tower shortcut — Flight section bypassing the lower tower path. Ascend with tap-W and cut right at the upper platform.
  5. Second fork — Take the RIGHT path. Left leads to a dead-end trap.
  6. Final sprint — Open runway to victory. Sprint at maximum speed — the villain cannot catch you here if you maintained pace.

Tips & Strategy

Villain follows predictable paths. Never stop on unsafe platforms.

  • Memorize fork directions before attempting — wrong turns waste more time than obstacle failures.
  • Never stop on platforms unless you are in a safe zone behind a closed gate.
  • Flash Hero (Rebirth 10+) makes the chase trivially easy with 25x speed.

Final Stage

Stage 8: Final Hero Escape combines every obstacle type into the ultimate test. Stage 7 victory means you are ready to attempt it with the right build.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the villain chase work in Stage 7?
A villain NPC follows you through the course on a fixed path. It does not shortcut — use the same routes you would without the chase.
What happens if the villain catches you?
You are sent back to the nearest checkpoint. The villain resets to its spawn position too.
What do I need for Stage 7?
Extreme speed, S-tier or high A-tier hero, 5+ rebirths, and mastered flight controls from Stages 5-6.
Are there dead-end traps?
Yes. Some platforms lead to dead ends that waste time while the villain closes distance. Learn the correct path.
Can I outrun the villain?
At sufficient speed, yes — but dead-end traps and obstacles are the real threat, not raw chase speed.
